The Kazan mayor's office reminded the public about holiday events on January 10.

      On Saturday, January 10, sporting, family and musical events will take place in Kazan's public spaces, the city mayor's press service reports.

      The program will begin on the Kazanka River embankment as part of the winter laboratory "Citizen-Scientist." There, on the territory of the "Nizhnee Zarechye" beach by the lifeguard hut, a snowkiting masterclass will be held. Professional instructors will show participants how to handle a winter sail on the ice. The masterclass starts at 11:00; registration is required to participate.

      At 14:00 on the stage of the children's park "Elmay" the musical performance "The Bremen Town Musicians" will be shown. A teenage theater studio will present a musical based on the well-known fairy tale, aimed at a family audience.

      In the evening, at 17:00, a winter party called "Just Move and That's It!" will be held in Lyadsky Garden. Guests are invited to dance to DJ sets, warm up with hot drinks and enjoy the garden's atmosphere. The evening's headliner will be DJ Stonik1917 from St. Petersburg, known for combining '90s house, analog sound and energetic delivery. Guests will gather at the fountain.

      Also at 17:00 at the city's main Christmas tree residents can expect a theatrical program featuring Ded Moroz and Snegurochka. The mayor's office reminded that the event lineup may change depending on weather conditions.
