According to representatives of Rospotrebnadzor of the Republic of Tatarstan, the online store provided delivery services for tobacco products, thereby violating the law.

The Vakhitovsky District Court of Kazan, based on a lawsuit from Rospotrebnadzor, completely prohibited the operation of the internet service for remote tobacco sales. As reported by "Tatar-inform," the inspection showed that the website freely offered delivery of tobacco products while remaining accessible to minors, which is a direct violation of anti-tobacco legislation. In accordance with the court's decision, information about the provision of such services is deemed prohibited for dissemination in Russia. The court ordered the website owners to remove all information from the portal and to cease the distribution of tobacco through this online platform. It is noted that the decision has already entered into legal force. The agency reminded that the retail sale of tobacco products is permitted only in stationary stores and pavilions. Earlier, the media reported that the republic is actively discussing the possibility of introducing a complete ban on the sale of vapes and electronic cigarettes. It was also proposed to legally establish an increase in the age limit for purchasing tobacco from 18 to 21 years. It was previously reported that the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan adopted a law that restricts the sale of gasoline to minors. Now, only children who are 16 years old and have a driver's license (for example, for operating a moped or motorcycle) will be able to buy fuel at gas stations. As one of the parliamentarians stated earlier, this bill will help reduce the level of child road traffic injuries in the republic.
