In Kazan, police detained a Lexus driver who threatened another driver on the road with a toy gun. This was reported by "Tatar-inform," citing data from the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan. According to representatives of the agency, law enforcement officers discovered a video recording on social media, which captured a quarrel between two drivers that escalated into a conflict. The footage shows that at one point, one of the motorists – the owner of the Lexus – pulled out an object resembling a gun and then began to threaten the other participant in the conflict. As a result of a series of operational measures, the violator was detained on Nikolai Ershov Street. He turned out to be a 43-year-old resident of Kazan. The press service reported that protocols were drawn up against the resident of the republic's capital for dangerous driving, lack of a compulsory insurance policy, and operating an unregistered vehicle. In addition, two items that resembled guns were seized from the man. As the police found out, they were toy guns. Earlier, it was reported that a 16-year-old quad bike driver attempted to flee from traffic inspectors. However, they managed to detain him after the young man overturned on the roadside. After detaining the teenager, law enforcement officers found out that the young man did not have a driver's license, and the quad bike itself was not insured under compulsory insurance. Based on the identified violations, protocols were drawn up against the young man under Articles 12.7 and 12.37 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation.
