       During an operational check, the suspect was detained at the scene and taken to the police station. The woman had about 250 tablets containing the narcotic substance "MDMA" confiscated.

       Police officers in the Moscow district of Kazan stopped the activities of a drug courier who planned to distribute banned substances through messengers. During the operational work, law enforcement officers detained a woman from whom they seized 250 tablets of "MDMA" weighing over 97 grams and two bags of mephedrone. According to law enforcement agencies, the suspect found a "side job" in one of the messengers and intended to distribute drugs using the "stash" method. However, she did not have time to implement her criminal plan – operatives detained her. During a personal search, a package with tablets and two bags with crystalline substances were found in the woman's backpack. "According to the results of the examination, it contained about 250 tablets containing the narcotic substance 'MDMA', with a total weight of more than 97 grams. In addition, the suspect had two bags with crystalline substances. The examination revealed that they contained the synthetic drug 'mephedrone'," the agency reported. A criminal case has been initiated against the woman under part 3 of article 30 and part 4 of article 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted illegal sale of narcotic substances in large quantities). Law enforcement agencies of the republic warn: for committing such crimes, a sentence of up to 20 years in prison is possible, and all correspondence in messengers is monitored during operational activities. Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic reported the detention of a resident of the Krasnodar Territory who is suspected of stealing money from a resident of Chistopol.
