Compared to last year, the decrease in the rejection rate in Tatarstan was 3.5 percentage points. Experts attribute the positive dynamics to banks adapting to the changing economic situation and anticipating further reductions in the Central Bank's key rate. At the same time, the total number of consumer loans issued in Russia decreased by 43.8% compared to August of last year. An important factor was the noticeable decrease in prices for new cars in Tatarstan. The average price of a passenger car in August was 2.8 million rubles. The largest price drop was recorded for HAVAL M6 (-11.7%), OMODA C5 (-10.3%), and several Chery models. The absolute leader in price reduction was the Chery Tiggo 4 Pro, which became 15.3% cheaper compared to August of last year.
