       The alleged perpetrator of the attack – the one who attacked 34-year-old Irina Shevyryova with a knife on October 14 in Kazan – was detained in Tajikistan and has already been delivered to the Russian Federation.

       The 30-year-old man, suspected of attempting to assassinate businesswoman Irina Shevyryova, was detained and brought to the crime scene just five days after the attack, completing the journey from the attack to extradition. This was reported by the "Real Time" portal, citing data from unofficial sources. Recall that the incident occurred on the morning of October 14 near one of Kazan's gymnasiums. By the evening of the same day, the alleged perpetrator, a native of Tajikistan named Rifaat Sultanov, left the territory of Russia. However, thanks to the prompt and coordinated work of the security forces of both countries, he was returned to Kazan on October 19. According to the source, investigators from the Investigative Committee of Tatarstan have already had the opportunity to interrogate the main suspect. Earlier, law enforcement learned that on the evening of October 14, the man left the Russian Federation, and already on Saturday, October 18, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation reported his detention in his homeland, specifying that the issue of extradition "is being resolved." According to the generally accepted procedure, a formal indictment and the selection of a preventive measure are required, but in this case, the security agencies of Russia and Tajikistan coordinated their actions before the official announcement of the wanted status. The investigation is under special control of the leadership of the Investigative Committee and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Accomplices have already been arrested, including the husband and father-in-law of the victim – well-known businessmen in Tatarstan, Ivan and Stanislav Shevyryov, as well as employees of their company's security service.
