       In Kazan, the day before, there was an explosion of a gas-air mixture in one of the apartments of a high-rise building on Lukina Street. During the firefighting, firefighters found the body of a man.

       In Kazan, after the explosion of a gas-air mixture in an apartment on Lukina Street, one person died, and 11 residents were forced to leave their homes and were accommodated in a temporary housing point. According to the press service of the district administration, all affected individuals have been provided with everything necessary. The incident occurred in an apartment building at 1A Lukina Street. According to the EMERCOM of Russia for Tatarstan, the fire broke out on the balcony of an apartment on the seventh floor and was extinguished over an area of 5 square meters. According to the agency's data, during the firefighting, rescuers discovered the body of the deceased man. As a result of the incident, access to their apartments is temporarily restricted for residents of 18 apartments. Most of them were able to stay with relatives, while one resident was provided with a place in the temporary accommodation point. The Prosecutor's Office of the Aviastroitelny District of Kazan has initiated an investigation into the incident. As stated by the senior assistant to the prosecutor of Tatarstan, Adelya Gainutdinova, "the prosecutor's office, together with specialists from relevant agencies, will determine the causes and circumstances of what happened, as well as check compliance with the requirements of legislation on ensuring safety when using and maintaining internal gas equipment." As previously reported by the media, the acting district prosecutor Ruslan Gusamov also went to the scene of the incident. The exact cause of the explosion will be determined by investigators from the State Fire Supervision. Earlier, it was reported that the court sentenced the former head of the Tukayevsky District of Tatarstan to 4 years in a strict regime.
