       According to the Investigative Committee of Russia for Tatarstan, Kamaev gratuitously granted his relative ownership of a land plot worth over 273 thousand rubles.

       The Naberezhnye Chelny City Court issued a guilty verdict against the former head of the Tukayev district of the Republic of Tatarstan, Fail Kamaev, finding him guilty of a series of corruption crimes. The official was sentenced to 4 years of imprisonment in a strict regime colony with a fine of 6 million rubles and a ban on holding public office for three years, reports the Prosecutor's Office of Tatarstan. During the court proceedings, it was established that Kamaev systematically abused his official position. Among the proven episodes is the gratuitous transfer of a land plot worth 273 thousand rubles to his relative, the acquisition of three land plots with a total value of 1.6 million rubles, and payment of bills amounting to 369 thousand rubles from private individuals, the construction of a private house at the expense of the contractor LLC "Stroitel" in exchange for assistance in paying subcontractor work, as well as the organization of an unequal exchange of municipal lands, as a result of which the budget lost 62.9 million rubles. Kamaev, who headed the Tukayev district since 2018, was arrested in April 2023. In June 2024, the district council approved his resignation at his own request, while simultaneously considering the prosecutor's submission to terminate his powers due to loss of trust. Before leading the Tukayev district, Kamaev served as the head of the Aktanysh district of Tatarstan from 2013 to 2017. Earlier, in Kazan, the head of "Volgadorstroy" Ayrat Minnullin, the contractor for the M-12 highway, was detained.
