These adjustments will automatically reflect on utility bills, as they will affect most utility companies. The main increase in rates has been postponed to October 1, 2026. This approach means that utility providers will have to account for all the cost increases accumulated since the beginning of the year in the fourth quarter. In fact, this will lead to a more significant one-time increase in the fall. The rates for heating, water supply, and wastewater will maintain an investment component of 1.5%. These funds are directed towards the modernization of worn-out networks and equipment of the utility infrastructure. It was previously reported that significant wage growth for janitors has been recorded in the cities of the Volga Federal District. According to a study, in the third quarter of 2025, employers significantly raised salary offers for this category of workers. Kazan became the leader in growth rates, where the average salary of a janitor reached 44,400 rubles – 35% higher than last year's figures.
