      The President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, issued a decree on the temporary management of the Russian subsidiaries of the Danish Rockwool, which is a resident of the Alabuga special economic zone, and the Polish-American CanPack. The corresponding document was published on the website of regulatory acts. According to the document, the management of the Rockwool group companies is transferred to the company "Development of Construction Assets." It will gain control over 100% of the shares in LLC "Rockwool," as well as 68% in LLC "Rockwool - Volga." The assets of CanPack in Russia are transferred to the temporary management of LLC "Stalelement," which will receive the entire share in LLC "Can-pack."

      Rockwool specializes in the production of thermal and sound insulation from stone wool and has been present in the Russian market since the mid-1990s. The company's first plant was opened in 1999 in the Moscow region. Currently, Rockwool's production facilities are located in the Alabuga special economic zone in Tatarstan, as well as in the Leningrad and Chelyabinsk regions.

      CanPack has been operating in Russia since 2010 and produces aluminum cans for beverages. The company has two plants located in the Moscow and Rostov regions and is estimated to account for about a third of the Russian market for this product.
