      In Kazan, paramedics saved an 18-year-old girl whose condition sharply deteriorated after self-treatment. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health of Tatarstan. The ambulance team arrived at the call for a patient with a high fever. At the scene, the medics found the girl in critical condition — she was unconscious, not breathing, and showed no signs of life. The paramedics immediately began resuscitation efforts. The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan explained that the patient suffers from cystic fibrosis and had been trying to cope with the fever on her own for a week without seeking medical help. Self-treatment led to severe complications and respiratory arrest. Thanks to the prompt and professional actions of the paramedic team, vital functions were restored.
