      On the M-12 "Vostok" highway from Moscow to Kazan, an increase in traffic was noted during the New Year holidays. From December 27 to January 12, motorists made an average of 15.2 thousand crossings per day, which is 22% higher than last year. This was reported by the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin on his channel in MAX. The peak load occurred on December 30, when over 22.7 thousand crossings were registered along the entire road, and in some sections, the figure reached 52.7 thousand. "I want to note that the development of the country's road framework also affects the growth of domestic tourism," Khusnullin stated. He also mentioned that the updating of road routes will continue so that Russians can reach their desired destinations more conveniently. According to Khusnullin, an increase in traffic was also recorded on other federal highways: on the M-11 "Neva" – 16.2 thousand crossings per day (+6%), on the M-4 "Don" – 24.3 thousand (+3%), on the Central Ring Road (CKAD) – about 20 thousand (+19%).
