The chairperson of the Public Council of the Verkhneuslonsky Municipal District, Elvira Safiullina, participated in the first meeting of the Public Chamber of the Republic of Tatarstan of the VIII convocation. The ceremonial event took place within the walls of the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting began with a key decision – the election of the chairperson of the Public Chamber. Through open voting, Alexander Terentyev was unanimously elected to this position. He replaced Zilya Valeeva, who successfully led the organization since 2020. The President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, participated in the meeting. Addressing the new members of the chamber, he emphasized the importance of public dialogue: "Our task is to ensure that the quality of life of our citizens meets their expectations and requirements.
