Starting from January 1, 2026, the insurance pensions of residents of the Republic of Tatarstan will be indexed by 7.6%.

      As a result of the 7.6% indexing, the average pension amount will increase by 1,864 rubles and will amount to 26,395 rubles. All changes are accounted for in the individual personal accounts of pensioners and affect the formation of their pension rights. In 2026, the indexing affected 1,015,855 pensioners across the Republic of Tatarstan. The indexing is annual and is carried out automatically, without the need to submit applications to the Social Fund of Russia. Its feature has been its extension to working pensioners as well. For them, the increase is calculated based on the established pension amount taking into account the indexing of 2025. This approach has ensured an increase for pensioners who are engaged in labor activities. "A special procedure for the payment of insurance pensions applies to them. All missed indexing during the work period is preserved and will be taken into account after the cessation of labor activity, and the pension will be paid in full, considering all accumulated increases," noted the manager of the Social Fund of Russia's branch in the Republic of Tatarstan, Eduard Vafin.
