The Alkeevsky District of Tatarstan sent another batch of aid to Lysychansk.

      The Alkeyevsky District of Tatarstan has sent another batch of humanitarian aid to the sister republic of Lysychansk in Luhansk region. The total weight of the cargo exceeded three tons. The aid is intended for the peaceful residents of the city and social institutions. The shipment included food, personal hygiene products, baby food, as well as bottled water to support social institutions. Bedding was provided for the needs of the population, and planed boards were sent for repair and restoration work. Special attention was given to children in frontline areas: New Year gifts were delivered to Lysychansk. The aid was collected through the joint efforts of enterprises in the Alkeyevsky District, business representatives, residents, educational institutions, and charitable organizations. Part of the cargo was formed as addressed parcels. The cargo was personally delivered to the humanitarian center in Lysychansk by the head of the Alkeyevsky District of Tatarstan, Alexander Nikoshin. During the trip, he also handed over specialized equipment, motorcycles, and other necessary property for the fighters in the special military operation zone. According to Nikoshin, the cargo was formed taking into account current needs. "We arrived on January 14, on the day of the old New Year, so this time we brought New Year gifts for the children. Along with them, we delivered essential goods – personal hygiene products, food, and sweets. The aid was collected by the entire district – residents, enterprises, organizations," he explained. "The cargo is intended both for Lysychansk and for our fighters throughout the special military operation zone. We strive to organize such trips on a regular basis," the head of the district clarified. In his message to the State Council of Tatarstan, the President of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, thanked volunteers for their contribution to supporting participants in the special operation and the cities of the Luhansk People's Republic. "We see how difficult times have united our society. Tatarstan residents, responding to the call of their hearts, support our fighters, their families, and collect humanitarian aid for the front and sister cities – Lysychansk and Rubizhne. I want to thank everyone for this important work," he said.
