      Recently, citizens have been receiving mass messages stating that "all pensioners allegedly need to urgently contact social protection and write an application so that their pension is not transferred to the digital ruble." This statement is false. The Social Fund of Russia does not transfer pensions to the digital ruble, and no applications from citizens for "refusal" are required. There are no special application forms in the client services of the SFR mentioned in the false messages. Such messages create social tension and can be used by fraudsters to obtain personal data or involve citizens in financial schemes. The SFR branch for the Republic of Tatarstan strongly recommends not to trust unverified texts, especially if they contain calls to "come urgently," "sign," "hurry before the date," or "pass it on to everyone you know." Any messages of this nature are fake. Pensions continue to be paid in the usual manner, and citizens do not need to take any additional actions. We ask the residents of the republic to trust only official sources of information.
