As of February, the price of ground coffee in establishments in Tatarstan is 99.96 rubles for 200 grams. This is 14.3% more than the drink cost in the same month of 2025. A significant increase in coffee prices has been recorded in Tatarstan. According to Rosstat data for February 2026, a cup of this drink, 200 grams in volume, costs residents of the republic an average of 99.96 rubles in fast food establishments. This is 14.3 percent more expensive than in February of last year. Moreover, an even more noticeable price increase has affected instant coffee. Over the year, its price has soared by 28.2 percent, reaching 3,666 rubles per kilogram. Natural coffee beans have also increased in price, rising by 33 percent to 2,000 rubles per kilogram. Overall, the dynamics across Russia also show a steady increase, although slightly more restrained. Statistics indicate that coffee in fast food outlets has become 12.24 percent more expensive, reaching 116.28 rubles for 200 grams. Instant coffee has increased in price by an average of 17.55 percent (to 4,200 rubles per kilogram), while natural ground and roasted coffee has risen by 24 percent, stopping at 2,000 rubles per kilogram. It was previously reported that there are officially 3,800 unemployed registered in Tatarstan, with 48,000 job vacancies available. This statistic was provided by the Minister of Labor, Employment, and Social Protection, Elmira Zaripova, at an event dedicated to Housing and Utilities Worker Day. Thus, there are currently about 12 potential candidates for each vacancy in the republic. The most job openings are in the construction and housing and utilities sectors, totaling around 15,000.
