Previously, Zaidullina was found guilty of participating in a scheme involving the creation of fictitious contracts for the transfer of municipal land plots for indefinite use. The criminal group included several individuals who performed various functions, from preparing and registering documents to giving bribes. The trial began in early 2021. The final decision was made in June 2025, more than four years later. At that time, the defendants were sentenced to terms ranging from 3.5 to 17 years of imprisonment. Several others received suspended sentences. The review of the sentence took place on March 24, 2026. Ada Zaidullina's sentence was reduced from 4 years to 3 years and 8 months. Other defendants in the case also had their sentences reduced by several months.
