      From March 19 to 22, the XXIII open individual and team Republican table tennis competitions for boys and girls born in 2011 and younger took place in the urban-type settlement of Bogatyye Saby. Starting in 2024, the tournament received international status, significantly raising its level and prestige. This year, the competition brought together participants from six countries, 14 regions of Russia, as well as 40 districts and cities of Tatarstan. A total of 262 top athletes competed for victory. The participants were welcomed by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov. He noted the high level of organization and the importance of developing sports infrastructure, emphasizing the significance of such competitions for nurturing future champions.

      Results of Zainsk athletes

      The team from the "Bars" sports school in Zainsk showed a commendable result, finishing 8th in the team standings among the strongest participants of the tournament. In individual competitions, the athletes also demonstrated good preparation: Alexander Nikitin took 5th place, confidently entering the ranks of leaders; Emil Khalitov showed stable play and took 14th place; Leila Khisamieva finished the tournament in 27th position.
