       According to the results of 2025, Tatarstan became the region with the highest salary growth dynamics in Russia. The average income of the residents of the republic increased by 20% over the year. The Republic of Tatarstan demonstrated the highest salary growth among the regions of Russia by the end of 2025. According to a study by RIA Novosti, in the highest-paying sector of the region, the income indicator increased by 20 percent, which became a record figure across the country. Experts attribute this dynamic to the overall state of the labor market, which was in a phase of structural overheating last year. Against the backdrop of record-low unemployment, competition for personnel intensified. This, as analysts note, led to an increase in the population's income. Overall in Russia, the average salary exceeded 100 thousand rubles, increasing by 13.5 percent over the year. At the same time, the income gap between regions remains significant. According to experts' estimates, the highest average salary was recorded in Chukotka – about 215 thousand rubles, while the lowest figures are in Ingushetia. Here, this amount does not reach the mark of 45 thousand rubles. In sectoral terms, the leaders are mining, IT, and financial services. For example, oil workers in Sakhalin have an average salary of 328 thousand rubles, while in the Moscow financial sector it is about 310 thousand rubles. In a total of 64 regions, salaries in the highest-paying sectors already exceed 100 thousand rubles – a year earlier, there were only 39 such entities. It was previously reported that Tatarstan ranked in the top 5 regions of Russia in terms of the number of bankruptcies among citizens. According to last year's results, 12,500 residents of Tatarstan filed for bankruptcy in court.
