      From the Republic of Tatarstan, students from Kazan Federal University, Kazan National Research Technical University named after A.N. The Republic of Mordovia is hosting participants and guests of the Intellectual Olympiad for the eleventh time – a public project implemented under the patronage of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Russia in the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov. This year, 224 people from 14 regions of the Volga region are participating in the competitions – winners of intra-university and regional qualifying stages, as well as teams from the Luhansk People's Republic and the Republic of Belarus. Participants of the regional stage of the Olympiad "IQ PFO" compete in traditional program areas: "Robotics," "Engineering Team Competition," "Parliamentary Debates," the intellectual game "What? Where? When?", "Programming of Unmanned Aerial Systems," and "Piloting of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles." The knowledge of the most erudite representatives of the youth of the Volga region will be assessed by a professional expert commission, which includes scientists from leading universities in Russia, managers, businessmen, and representatives of IT companies. Deputy Plenipotentiary Oleg Mashkovtsev congratulated the participants on behalf of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Russia in the PFO Igor Komarov: "Over the years, the Olympiad has become not just a competition, but a true intellectual brand of the Volga region. Here gather the most ambitious and talented students ready to compete for the title of the best. Of course, you are already the best in your regions, having passed the qualifying stages and achieved great success – after all, out of almost 25,000 participants in the intra-university stage of this season, just over two hundred made it to the finals! This is already a victory and recognition of your talent."

      Based on the results of solving non-standard algorithmic, engineering, managerial, and other tasks in the fields of science, production, culture, and politics, winners and prize-winners will be determined both in individual competition categories and in team standings. It should be noted that before the opening of the Olympiad, participants underwent training on the application of artificial intelligence for two days, which will undoubtedly help them in their future professional activities. The results of the collective "brainstorming" of Volga students will be summarized on March 28.
