       Most residents of the Republic of Tatarstan prioritize finding job options that are close to home. According to a study by hh.ru, for 64% of Tatarstan residents, the location of their future workplace is one of the key factors in employment. Moreover, 19% of job seekers consider vacancies only within their district, while another 45% occasionally monitor what vacancies are available nearby. The location of the future workplace is not important for only a third of those surveyed, notes "Real Time." Maria Ignatova, the research director at hh.ru, points out that the value of working close to home increases with age. While among young people under 34 this factor is important in only 13-15% of cases, among those over 55 it is already 28%. There is also a significant gender difference: 24% of women look for vacancies exclusively in their area, while among men, this figure is half as much – 12%. In terms of profession, working near home is most important for retail (42%), while IT specialists consider this factor the least (6%), as many of them can work remotely. For the opportunity to work closer to home, residents of Tatarstan are willing to make concessions: 36% agree to give up a higher position, 29% – to work in a well-known company, 26% – to work in a modern office. One in five is ready to sacrifice employer-sponsored training. Only 12% of respondents are unwilling to give up anything, as commuting time is not a decisive factor for them. Almost 80% of job seekers study the route to the office using various services before responding to a vacancy. Most often (51%) they use apps to calculate travel time, especially among young people aged 18-25 – 69%. Recently, it was reported that Tatarstan leads among Russian regions in salary growth.
