      The Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan (AIR RT) has announced a vacancy for the position of Deputy Head for Projects. The agency is looking for a person "whose main drivers are passion for work and boundless energy," as stated in the agency's post on its Telegram channel. Candidates are expected to have impeccable management of roadmaps and top-level negotiation skills. There is also a mention of the readiness to make Tatarstan a leader in investments 24/7. "The requirements for candidates in investment work are the highest. Discipline and dedication must be incredible. Professionalism in projects, clean hands (anti-corruption), and patriotism are needed. We are looking at candidates," said Talia Minullina, head of AIR RT, to "BUSINESS Online."

      According to the newspaper, the vacancy in the agency's leadership appeared in the summer of 2025, when former Deputy Head Igor Sapunov left the agency—sources say he went to one of the Chinese companies operating in Tatarstan. The search has dragged on so long that the agency has gone to the market with the vacancy and prepared a special video.

      Additionally, former Deputy Head Marina Epifantseva took over the Krasnodar Krai Investment Attraction Agency in mid-March 2026. As "BUSINESS Online" found out, a successor has already been chosen for Epifantseva. The choice fell on Maria Krivenkova, head of the legal and documentation support department at AIR RT. Her candidacy is currently under approval by the head, Rustam Minnikhanov, but she can already often be seen at official agency events.

      Judging by information from open sources, Krivenkova is the author of the scientific monograph "Non-material International Legal Responsibility of States," has a Hirsch index of 6, 70 scientific publications, and holds a candidate of legal sciences degree. She is also fluent in English.
