Tatarstan athletes won 23 medals at the All-Russian freestyle wrestling tournament in Nizhnekamsk.
The XIV Open All-Russian M-7 OPEN Wrestling Tournament has concluded in Tatarstan. The prize fund of the competition was 1.1 million rubles, attracting winners and medalists from championships in Europe, Asia, Russia, and federal districts. The competition featured juniors (born 2006–2008) and boys (born 2013–2015) from approximately 400 regions of Russia and neighboring countries. Athletes from the Republic of Tatarstan collected 23 awards: 5 gold, 7 silver, and 11 bronze medals. The region of Tatarstan was represented by wrestlers from Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk, Zainsk, and Mamadysh.
