The cycling season is open: Rosgvardiya employees in Zelenodolsk detained a suspect in theft.

      In Zelenodolsk, employees of the Rosgvardiya's non-departmental security department detained a 23-year-old resident of the city. The suspect is accused of stealing a bicycle from the entrance of a residential building. This was reported to us by the press service of the Rosgvardiya Administration for the Republic of Tatarstan. Early in the morning, a non-departmental security patrol received information from police about the theft of a bicycle from the entrance of a building on Builders Avenue. The owner of the vehicle, left on the stair landing of the first floor, reported the theft to the duty unit. The damage caused amounted to 45 thousand rubles. Upon arriving at the scene, the Rosgvardiya officers began inspecting the surrounding area and soon noticed a young man with a bicycle near a neighboring house that resembled the stolen one. The suspect could not explain the ownership of the vehicle and resisted arrest, resulting in handcuffs being applied to him. For further investigation, the local resident, born in 2002, was taken to the territorial office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
