      Tatarstan presents projects aimed at strengthening interethnic unity and supporting the special military operation. As reported by the press service of the Kazan mayor's office, there are five days left until the completion of public voting for the finalists of the III All-Russian Municipal Award "Service." Residents of the republic can cast their votes for two projects from Tatarstan that are competing for victory in this prestigious competition until April 6 inclusive. This stage is crucial for determining the winners, whose initiatives are aimed at developing local self-government and improving the quality of life for citizens. The award is held on the instruction of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and is designed to recognize the achievements of municipal employees who have made significant contributions to the development of their territories. The Kazan administration emphasized the importance of citizen participation in the voting: "The support of residents is necessary for the victory of key projects that contribute to the development of local self-government and enhance the comfort and quality of life in our municipalities." Among the 110 best initiatives in the country in the nomination "Unity of the Peoples of Russia - Strength of the Country" is the project of Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin "Kazan. Unity in Diversity." The program unites numerous cultural and educational initiatives, including the "Itel" festival, theatrical performances "Voices of Kazan," dance evenings "In Motion - Blessing," and the children's theater studio "Apush." These projects are aimed at preserving traditions, promoting the Tatar language, and creating platforms for intercultural dialogue. The second finalist from the republic is the project of municipal deputy Valery Tigr from the Tukayevsky district "Active Assistance to Soldiers of the Special Military Operation on the Front Line and the Families of Soldiers." This year, the expert council of the award reviewed a record number of applications - over 63 thousand. Winners in 11 nominations will be determined based on the results of public voting and the decision of the supervisory board led by the first deputy head of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation Sergey Kiriyenko. The solemn award ceremony for the laureates will take place on April 21 as part of the forum "Small Homeland - Strength of Russia."
