It is planned to allocate 1.7 billion rubles for the resettlement of emergency housing in Tatarstan by 2026. The program includes 18 apartment buildings previously recognized as emergency.
The implementation period of the program for resettling emergency housing in the Republic of Tatarstan, originally scheduled for 2024-2026, has been extended to 2027. The corresponding decree was signed by the Prime Minister of the Republic, Alexey Pesoshin. As RBC notes, the total funding will amount to about 1.7 billion rubles. It is planned to resettle 388 premises in 18 apartment buildings recognized as emergency, where 919 people live. It is expected that the emergency fund will be resettled in Kazan, Vysokogorsky, Almetyevsky, and Leninogorsk districts. As of the fourth quarter of last year, 169 apartment buildings with 2,500 apartments were recognized as emergency and uninhabitable in the republic, where 5,700 people live. According to the publication, of the 388 premises planned for resettlement, 302 are currently privately owned, while the rest are municipal. In 2024 and 2025, new housing was provided to 200 people living in 72 premises of four emergency buildings. The program notes that most residents of emergency housing are unable to purchase apartments on their own, and there are insufficient funds in municipal budgets for this purpose. For 2024 and 2025, funding amounted to 73.4 million and over 239.8 million rubles, respectively. This year, about 1.4 billion rubles is allocated, of which 59 percent are regional funds. The republican budget will allocate over 1 billion rubles, the Territorial Development Fund – 342.7 million, and municipal entities – 14 million rubles. It was previously reported that this year, capital repairs are planned for 706 apartment buildings located in 42 municipal entities of the republic.
