The military commissioner of the Almetyevsky district of Tatarstan was detained for taking a bribe from an entrepreneur.

      The military commissioner of the Almetyevsk district was detained while receiving a bribe of 700,000 rubles. This was reported to Tatar-inform by the press service of the FSB for Tatarstan. According to the special service, the money was handed over by a local entrepreneur who was involved in attracting citizens to sign contracts for military service. The bribe was intended for general patronage. As reported by the FSB, the military commissioner provided the entrepreneur with data on citizens who applied to the military enlistment office to sign a contract. The entrepreneur falsely processed their documents as "recruits" attracted by him. From November 2025 to March 2026, four contract soldiers were processed in this way. The entrepreneur was supposed to receive 1.2 million rubles for them, of which more than 1 million rubles were allegedly intended for the military commissioner. The detention of the suspect was carried out by FSB officers and the economic police while receiving the bribe.
