Special attention was paid to the history of the building, the categories of cases that the city court hears, as well as the modern technologies used in its work. The students were most impressed by the video conferencing system and the audio recording system, which allows for accurate documentation of the proceedings.

      The topic of the rights, duties, and responsibilities of minors was also addressed. As part of the prevention of offenses, the assistant judge presented alarming statistics: how many adolescents were sent to special educational and correctional institutions by court decision and to temporary detention centers. The excursion continued in the court's hall, where the students were drawn to the statue of the goddess of justice, Themis. This symbolic figure, with her eyes covered and scales in her hands, reminds us that justice must be impartial and fair.

      The final highlight was a visit to the corner of the history of the development of the judicial system in the Chistopol district. Here, the students learned how justice has changed over the decades and saw historical documents and exhibits with their own eyes.
