      In the Republic of Tatarstan, specialists have recorded the first tick bite. It is also known that one of the residents of Kazan "brought" the bloodsucker to the republic from Sochi. The first cases of tick attachment in the new season have been registered in Tatarstan. According to the report from the republican Rospotrebnadzor, the first bite was recorded on March 25 in the Vysokogorsky district. By March 27, seven people had already sought medical attention in the region, claiming they had been bitten by bloodsuckers. Attack cases have been registered in several municipalities: Almetyevsky, Aznakayevsky, Zelenodolsky, Nurlatsky districts, as well as in Kazan itself. An unusual case has been identified – one of the residents of Kazan was bitten by a tick during a trip to Sochi. The other attacks occurred while visiting forest areas, summer cottages, and during dog walks, reports "Real Time." Specialists note that studies of ticks for dangerous infections traditionally begin in mid-April. So far, analyses of the parasites removed from people have not yet been conducted. According to the agency, despite a general decrease in the number of bites across the country by almost three times compared to last year, experts do not rule out high tick activity this season. The reason for this is the snowy winter, which helped the parasites successfully survive the winter. It was previously reported that Tatarstan is considering the possibility of introducing a set of new regulations regarding the keeping of pets in apartment buildings. According to the text of the document, its authors propose to establish a clear norm for the area of living space in the republic that will correspond to the presence of one pet.
