A new large-scale robotics tournament for children "ROBOKAZAN" will take place in Kazan.

      On May 7, on Radio and Communications Day, the Open Tournament of the Republic of Tatarstan in Robotics and Technological Entrepreneurship "ROBOKAZAN" will take place at the IT Park named after Bashir Rameev. We invite all children aged 6 to 18 and their parents to this grand celebration of technology! Registration for participants opens on April 8! In an era of rapid technological development, the ability to create and program robots, develop digital solutions, and propose innovative ideas becomes critically important for future success. The "ROBOKAZAN" festival gives children a unique opportunity to showcase their talents and take their first steps in technological entrepreneurship. "ROBOKAZAN" will bring together over 600 young competitors and gather around 1500 visitors. Today, at the opening of the festival "Akrobot," the Deputy Minister of Digital Development of Tatarstan, Bulat Gabdrakhmanov, announced the start of preparations for the grand festival "ROBOKAZAN" and invited every young genius to our tournament! The program includes six exciting tracks:

      Sports Robotics — the most spectacular part of the festival, where robots will compete in speed and accuracy in completing complex tasks. There are three age categories in the track:

      - Junior Robotics (7-13 years): Participants will test their skills in exciting disciplines — "Mission Impossible," where the team assembles a robot from a standard electronics kit within a limited time; "Batyra's All-Around," testing the versatility of robots similar to Tatar heroes at Sabantuy; "Kegelring Quad," where an autonomous robot must push white pins without touching the black ones; and "Football of Controlled Robots" — thrilling matches of teams of 4 robots.

      - Middle Robotics (12-17 years): Includes "Arduino Practice" — a practical olympiad with robotic exercises, "Future Engineers" — a competition where the team must repair a section of the pipeline using high-tech equipment, and a more complex version of "Mission Impossible."

      - Modern Satellite Technologies (14-18 years): A hackathon where teams develop prototypes of nanosatellites in CubeSat format — from the zero cycle to assembly and testing in conditions simulating outer space.

      Technological Entrepreneurship in Robotics — a track for young inventors and startups:

      - Stand protection of technological startups: participants will present ready-made technological projects and exchange experiences in the field of robotics, IT, and artificial intelligence.

      - Startup competition on WeDo: Children will develop their first technological project using the WeDo constructor and present it to the jury.

      - "Young Inventor": Young talents will create helper robots with programmable functions from WeDo 2.0 parts.

      Digital IT Startups — a direction for future developers:

      - Immersion in digital: Creating digital postcards, animations, 3D visualizations using Tinkercad, Canva, and Scratch tools, as well as participating in a game development workshop.

      - Working with constructors: Developing chatbots, applications, and intelligent services using Python and App Inventor.

      - Code development: Creating full-fledged IT solutions — from chatbots to web/mobile applications and AI services with a business model in Python, JavaScript, and TensorFlow.

      AI Hackathon — immersion in the world of artificial intelligence:

      - AI Beginner: Participants will undergo an intensive AI course, solve team tasks, and present their projects to the jury.

      - AI Researcher: For those already familiar with Python or JavaScript. Participants will solve real tasks and conduct a pitch session in front of experts.

      Future Technologies — a team intensive where participants generate innovative ideas on the spot: High school students will brainstorm and develop technological solutions for various industries: security, media, tourism, IT, transport, sports, social sphere, culture, education.

      In addition to the competitive program, guests can expect unique activities as part of the celebration of Radio and Communications Day: an exhibition of vintage radios, a demonstration of military communication equipment, interaction with a humanoid robot, workshops on Morse code, a retro car exhibition, army field kitchen, and much more.
