Ministry of Construction of Tatarstan: 47% of the housing construction plan has been completed in Tatarstan.

      The housing input plan in Tatarstan has been fulfilled by 47% – over 1 million 494 thousand square meters have been built in the republic. This was reported by the Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic Marat Aizatullin at a meeting in the House of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, as conveyed by the press service of the President of Tatarstan. The meeting was chaired by the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, with the participation of the Prime Minister of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin and the acting Chairman of the State Council of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov.

      In the line of commercial construction, 45% of the plan has been fulfilled – this includes 56 apartment buildings with a total area of about 467 thousand square meters. The social mortgage program has been fulfilled by 33%: out of 108 houses, 9 have been completed to date, with a total area exceeding 49 thousand square meters. In the segment of individual housing construction, 978 thousand square meters have been commissioned, which is 49% of the planned indicator.

      The implementation of programs to provide housing for certain categories of citizens continues. In 2026, it is planned to provide 641 housing units for orphans, and preparations are already underway for an auction to acquire 49 apartments with federal co-financing. In the category of large families with five or more children, certificates have been issued for all 23 recipients.

      For 61 young families, agreements have been concluded with 43 municipalities, and funds are being transferred. In the category of forced migrants, migrants from the Far North, and Chernobyl victims, 3 recipients are provided for, and one certificate has already been issued.

      At the same time, state and republican programs for the construction of socio-cultural facilities and modernization of infrastructure are being implemented. Contracts for 14 facilities under the housing construction support program are planned to be concluded in May.

      In the field of education, out of 7 schools, a contract remains to be concluded for one – in Kazan, which is planned for April 24. The overall level of completion of construction and installation works is 29%, with 6 facilities in progress. For three kindergartens, 37% of the work has been completed.

      In healthcare, the construction of the reception and diagnostic department of the hospital in Kazan continues, with readiness estimated at 31%.

      In the field of sports, 14 facilities are being implemented: for universal sites and football arenas, 7% of the work has been completed, the Football Development Center is 67% ready, and three ice arenas are 8% ready.

      In the culture sector, work is ongoing on 7 facilities, with the construction of multifunctional centers completed by 49%. Four children's art schools, implemented as part of the national project "Family," are 12% ready.

      One of the largest environmental projects remains the reclamation of sludge fields in Kazan – 93% of the work has been completed. In the field of youth policy, 7 facilities are being implemented, including children's health camps with a readiness of 25%.

      As part of other republican programs, it is planned to implement 27 facilities. For the construction of executive committee buildings, 30% of the work has been completed (20 facilities), and for comprehensive service points for the population – also 30% (5 facilities).

      In 2026, the improvement of 51 public areas is planned, contracts have been concluded, and work has begun on one facility in the Zelenodolsk district.

      The modernization of engineering infrastructure is being carried out under eight federal and republican programs. Contracts have been concluded for the modernization of wastewater treatment facilities, replacement of boilers, and restoration of street lighting. By the end of May, it is planned to complete contracting for the reconstruction of gas consumption networks and provision of drinking water to the population.

      The list of facilities for the modernization of housing and communal services has been formed and is under approval. Under the federal line, 9 facilities are being implemented as part of the "Modern Appearance of Rural Territories" project and 17 for the modernization of communal infrastructure, with contracts concluded.

      Readiness for the modernization of wastewater treatment facilities is 3%, for the federal project on modernization of communal infrastructure – 13%, for the "Modern Appearance of Rural Territories" project – 4% (facilities in Kukmor and Menzelinsk districts).

      Separately, the minister addressed the issue of industrial injuries: in the last two weeks, two accidents have been recorded. Since the beginning of the year, self-regulating organizations have conducted 641 inspections (347 on-site), and disciplinary measures have been applied in 415 cases. The State Construction Supervision Inspection has issued 143 resolutions, with a total of 340 inspections conducted.

      The main investment and construction management has organized 563 control activities, and out of 1201 identified violations, 995 have been eliminated.

      Also, starting from April 1, the "Clean Construction" campaign has been launched in the republic as part of the sanitary and ecological two-month period. Its goal is to ensure cleanliness at construction sites, timely waste disposal, and compliance with requirements, including the presence of wheel washing points.
