The Luhansk People's Republic was attacked by drones at night. The territory of the "Belorechenskaya" mine was also hit, resulting in 41 mine employees being trapped underground. This was reported by the head of the republic, Leonid Pasechnik. He stated that the mine's electrical substation was damaged, leading to an emergency power outage. At the time of the outage, 41 workers were underground. They remain in the mine, Pasechnik noted. He added that communication with the miners has been established, and they have a supply of drinking water. Furthermore, the strikes affected several areas — Kremenskoy, Krasnodon, Belyovodsk municipal districts, as well as Luhansk. In the village of Mikhailovka in the Kremensky district, private houses were hit, and a fire broke out. According to preliminary data, a family of three — a man, a woman, and a child — died. In the village of Novosemeikino in the Krasnodon district, railway infrastructure was damaged. Windows in residential buildings were shattered by the blast wave. In Belyovodsk, a two-story hotel building was destroyed, and residential houses and outbuildings were also damaged. Additionally, in Luhansk, fragments of a downed drone damaged the roof and glazing of a private house. There are no casualties reported. Moreover, the governor of the Krasnodar region, Veniamin Kondratiev, also reported a massive drone attack on the region. In Novorossiysk, 8 people were injured, including children. In total, overnight, Russian air defense forces shot down 50 Ukrainian drones over the regions, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense report.
