The final of the XVII project "Yaz Güzäle" gathered participants from 16 regions of Russia in Kazan.

      Today, the final of the XVII cultural and educational project "Yaz Güzäle – 2026" took place at the Tatar State Theater of Drama and Comedy named after K. Tinchurina in Kazan, dedicated to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia. 30 finalists from 16 regions of the country took to the stage, 10 of whom competed for the main title of "Yaz Güzäle." Acting Chairman of the State Council of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov emphasized the importance of the competition for preserving Tatar culture among the youth. "Through your talent, you pass on national traditions and your native language to future generations," he stressed. State Council Deputy and rector of KGEU Edward Abdullazyanov reminded that the project has been running for 17 years and is already conducted at the federal level. "This year, we received over 300 applications. From them, we selected 30 finalists. I am confident that this project will live on and develop," he said. In the final of the XVII cultural and educational project "Yaz Güzäle," the jury included Deputy Chairman of the State Council Committee on Ecology, Natural Resources, Agro-Industrial and Food Policy Nazip Khazipov. The event also featured the Chairman of the Committee on Social Policy Alexey Sozinov, the Chairman of the Committee on Education, Culture, Science, and National Issues Ayrat Zaripov, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Budget, Taxes, and Finance Kamil Nugaev, and State Council Deputy Danis Shakirov. The competition program included several stages where participants demonstrated their erudition, artistry, and confident command of the Tatar language. Educational master classes played an important role in the preparation for the final, where the girls gained new knowledge about national culture. They studied team building, speech culture, Arabic calligraphy, national handicrafts, Tatar folklore, and folk dance under the guidance of experienced mentors.
