It was only after the completion of the search operation that it became definitively known that the number of fatalities in the fire at the facility had increased to 12 people. The holding expressed condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims of the tragedy. It is specified that among the deceased are one woman and 11 men. The last victim of the fire at "Nizhnekamskneftekhim" has been found, and the search operation is completed. The search operation on the territory of "Nizhnekamskneftekhim" has been completed. This was reported by the company's press service. NKNH expressed condolences to the families and loved ones of the deceased. As a result of the incident, 12 people died. "This is an irreplaceable loss for Nizhnekamsk. We extend our deepest condolences to the families of the deceased. We will be there for each of them. In such moments, the most important thing is to be together," said the mayor of Nizhnekamsk, Radmir Belyaev, on social media. Recall that the fire at "Nizhnekamskneftekhim" occurred on March 31. The cause of the fire, as previously established, was an explosion of a gas mixture during the elimination of the consequences of equipment depressurization. As a result of the incident, 72 people were injured, six of whom were in serious condition. During the firefighting, the commander of the 29th fire and rescue unit of the Federal Fire Service for the Republic of Tatarstan, Marat Nazipov, was killed. In connection with the tragedy, a three-day mourning was declared in the region on April 1.

      Families of the deceased will receive 10 million rubles each from "Nizhnekamskneftekhim." Those hospitalized will receive 3 million rubles, as well as compensation for subsequent rehabilitation expenses.
