On World Parkinson's Disease Day, we want to tell you about an artificial intelligence-based service that helps identify this disease in just 1 minute using voice analysis. The service is being developed by the IT park resident, LLC "Brainphone." Treatment for Parkinson's disease begins at a late stage in 80% of cases. Only one in three people with this disease receives an official diagnosis. On average, a patient has to visit four doctors before an accurate diagnosis is made after the first troubling symptoms appear. The company is developing an innovative AI service called BRAINPHONE to detect Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, and other neurodegenerative diseases through voice analysis. The neural network is trained on audio recordings of voices from patients and healthy individuals and provides a probabilistic assessment with a confidence level. The solution is being prepared for clinical trials and registration as a medical device. "Brainphone" has entered the top 100 most promising startups in the RB Choice 2025 ranking (an annual rating by the publication RB.RU). The company has won various competitions and awards, including the "PROF-IT. Innovation 2024" competition in the field of public administration, and the "MedLAB 2024 Innovation Laboratory" from Skolkovo and Sechenov University. The solution for detecting Parkinson's disease is included in the map of innovative solutions in Moscow.
