Humanitarian aid from the "Nefis" foundation has been delivered to Iran.
The humanitarian cargo sent from Tatarstan on April 3 by the "Nefis" foundation has arrived in Iran. Three trucks delivered household chemicals and sunflower oil weighing over 51 tons to the affected region. The humanitarian shipment has been handed over to the Red Crescent Society in Iran. This organization will ensure the distribution of aid to the civilian population. The humanitarian initiative was initiated by State Duma deputy and founder of the "Nefis" charitable foundation Irek Boguslavsky. It was implemented in cooperation with the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Tatarstan and the Iranian Consulate General in Kazan. "The assistance and sincere sympathy of the people and organizations of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Russian Federation have taken a special place in the minds and hearts of the people of Iran. We, Iranians, never forget the kindness shown to us. Just as we stand in the face of difficulties, we also bow our heads in the face of kindness received. I am confident that the name of the 'Nefis' foundation and the people of Tatarstan will go down in the history of humanitarian diplomacy in Iran," said Mansur Hosseini, the Iranian Consul General in Kazan for economic, cultural, and public diplomacy.
Let us recall that the humanitarian aid sent by the "Nefis" foundation to Iran included the following:
- 43,200 bottles of sunflower oil (over 35.6 tons),
- 4,000 packages of laundry detergent (over 5.6 tons),
- 10,000 pieces of toilet soap (over 1.4 tons),
