       An emergency evacuation of nearly 800 people was carried out at Kazan School No. 132 due to a short circuit in the electrical panel.

       A short circuit occurred in the electrical panel at School No. 132 in Kazan, causing smoke. According to the city's education department, students and teachers were promptly evacuated from the building. The children were temporarily accommodated in the neighboring School No. 103. According to the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for Tatarstan, the alarm went off at 9:37. Before the arrival of fire units, 715 students and 81 staff members were evacuated from the building. Arriving specialists determined that the short circuit occurred in the electrical panel without subsequent fire, and the smoke was eliminated. According to preliminary data, there are no injuries. According to Tatar-inform, an electrician is currently working at the site, checking the equipment and establishing the causes of the incident. The education department noted that the situation is under control, and classes at the school are expected to resume soon. Earlier, users on social media reported the evacuation of everyone in the educational institution due to smoke. It was previously reported that the authorities of Kazan intend to seek a court decision to demolish the parking lot on Kremlin Embankment. The Kazan City Executive Committee, together with the administrations of the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts, is seeking the demolition of the parking lot on Kremlin Embankment. According to the materials of the Arbitration Court of Tatarstan, the proceedings began last summer. A lawsuit was filed against the company "KZN Development" – the authorities demand to recognize the defendant's ownership of the land as illegal, to demolish the barrier, fence, and two-story security building at the company's own expense.
