      The Head of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, held a meeting with the Prime Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Mostafa Madbouly. This was reported by the head of the press service of the Head of Tatarstan, Lilia Galimova. Minnikhanov spoke about his recent substantive meeting with the President of Egypt and emphasized that Russia remains a reliable partner for Egypt, especially in the field of food security. The Prime Minister of Egypt, in turn, noted the special role of Rustam Minnikhanov as the chairman of the Strategic Vision Group "Russia - Islamic World." He emphasized that the recent meeting between Minnikhanov and the President of Egypt was, in his words, a confirmation of the good relations between the countries. He also congratulated Kazan on being awarded the status of the cultural capital of the Islamic world and stated that Egypt is ready to cooperate with Tatarstan in the field of preserving cultural heritage. Mostafa Madbouly expressed his wishes for the successful holding of the "KazanForum." Furthermore, the Egyptian Prime Minister reported that he expects the soon launch of the Russian industrial zone in Egypt and noted the readiness to rely on the experience of Tatarstan's industrial companies. Rustam Minnikhanov, in turn, emphasized that Tatarstan, as one of the most dynamically developing regions of Russia, plays an important role in the country's relations with the Islamic world and adds additional practical dynamics to the relations between Russia and Egypt. He noted a significant increase in trade turnover between Tatarstan and Egypt and added that he sees potential for further growth. The Head of the Republic also shared his impressions from his visit to Cairo, noting the large-scale transformations in Egypt over the past few years. He paid special attention to the construction of a new administrative capital, calling it a symbol of a strategic approach to the country's development, the implementation of modern technologies, and the creation of new points of economic growth. Next, Minnikhanov briefly spoke about the economic and industrial potential of Tatarstan and outlined the sectors that may be of interest to Egyptian partners. He stated that the republic is open to investments and innovations, as well as actively developing areas of partnership financing and the halal industry.

      At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to identify the responsible agencies that will oversee joint projects – on both sides, they will be the ministries of industry of Egypt and Tatarstan.
