In the "People's Inspector" app, starting from September 2024, rewards can be obtained for reporting violations of traffic rules. During this time, residents of Tatarstan submitted more than 12 thousand applications across 7 paid categories and earned 5.6 million rubles. The record holder was a resident of the republic who sent 226 applications and received 275 thousand rubles, while the second place went to a user who earned 260.8 thousand rubles from 209 applications. In the "People's Inspector" system, residents of Tatarstan become assistants to the State Traffic Inspectorate and help to timely identify administrative offenses. "Today, the 'People's Inspector' app is not just a way to report violations, but a real tool for increasing safety on the roads of Tatarstan. When each of us notices and records improper parking or dangerous driving, we together protect each other from accidents, injuries, and even save lives. The app has registered more than 199 thousand unique users, the youngest being 17 years old and the oldest being 67 years old," said the Minister of Digital Development of Tatarstan, Ilya Nachvin. In the app, users can receive 25% of the amount of fines, and the system will automatically determine the location to speed up the processing of the application. Note: The state information system "People's Inspector" was launched in Tatarstan in 2014 to record traffic violations and improve the environment through video. In September 2024, an updated version of the app was released, which allows users to receive rewards for reporting violations in seven categories:
