The State Housing Fund has fulfilled its annual housing commissioning plan by 38.3%.

      The priority task in the field of housing construction is to ensure the availability of housing. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Tatarstan, Alexey Pesoshin, speaking today at the twentieth meeting of the State Council of Tatarstan. An effective tool for providing Tatarstan residents with comfortable subsidized housing is the social mortgage program from the State Housing Fund under the President of Tatarstan. In 2026, the State Housing Fund plans to provide housing for 3,123 Tatarstan families as part of the program. For this purpose, 108 houses with a total area of 150.6 thousand square meters will be built in the cities and districts of Tatarstan. To date, the housing commissioning plan has been fulfilled by the State Housing Fund by 38.3%, with 10 houses commissioned containing 1,119 apartments with a total area of 57.7 thousand square meters. The social mortgage program has been implemented in Tatarstan since 2005, has no analogs in Russia, and allows for the fulfillment of one of the main tasks of the national project "Infrastructure for Life" – improving the living conditions of our citizens. Over the 21 years of the social mortgage program's operation, more than 8.5 million square meters of housing have been commissioned through investments from the State Housing Fund, and over 138 thousand Tatarstan families have moved into new apartments. The housing provided to newcomers is finished and offered on favorable terms that have remained unchanged since 2005: an interest rate of 7% per annum, an installment period of up to 28.5 years, and a down payment of at least 10% of the apartment's cost. At the same time, the cost of housing in social mortgage houses is currently 30% lower than the market price.

      Families who have a child after being registered in the program receive a non-repayable compensation of 200 thousand rubles.
