Safety lessons at "Kolokolchik": children extinguished a simulated fire

      In the MBDOU "Kindergarten 'Bell'" employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the All-Russian Volunteer Fire Society held a large-scale event for Fire Protection Day. Preschoolers practiced evacuation, learned about the structure of a fire extinguisher, and even tried to deal with a simulated fire.

      Safety from a young age

      In anticipation of Fire Protection Day, a significant event took place at the Zainsk kindergarten "Bell." Senior inspector of the Fire Safety and Emergency Response Department for the Zainsk municipal district Rizvanova Z.T., together with the head of the Zainsk section of the All-Russian Volunteer Fire Society Astashina L.A., organized a comprehensive fire safety lesson for the children and staff.

      The main goal of the event was to teach the youngest citizens how to respond correctly to emergencies, whether at home, on the street, or in the forest.

      Training alarm: coordination and discipline

      The first stage was a practical training exercise. Upon the signal of the training alarm, the kindergarten staff and children began the evacuation. Everyone acted quickly but without panic. Thanks to clear instructions and the professionalism of the staff, each participant safely left the building and gathered at a pre-determined safe location on the premises.

      The kindergarten manager conducted a roll call and reported the exact number of evacuees to the responsible person. The training was successful. The organizers emphasized that such drills are held regularly here. This allows the staff to stay alert, identify possible mistakes, and correct them before a real threat arises.

      A fire extinguisher in children's hands

      But the most interesting part awaited the kids outside. After the evacuation, specialists introduced the preschoolers to the structure of a powder fire extinguisher. They demonstrated how this firefighting tool works and how to use it correctly.

      The highlight of the day was the practical part. Each child was able to take on the role of a real firefighter. Under the careful supervision of adults, the little ones applied their knowledge in practice — they extinguished a simulated fire using the fire extinguisher. The excitement of the young participants was boundless.

      Results and outcomes

      At the end of the event, all children received colorful handouts with fire safety rules. A total of 50 children aged 2 to 7 participated in the safety lesson, along with 18 kindergarten staff members.

      Such events not only foster a culture of safe behavior in the younger generation but also instill respect for the profession of firefighter, showing that timely and correct actions can save lives.
