The regional stage of the "Best in Profession" competition has started in Kazan.

The regional stage of the All-Russian professional skills competition "Best in Profession" has started at the Kazan Helicopter Plant. More than a hundred participants are competing in the categories of "Turner," "Miller," "CNC Machine Operator," "Welder," and "Assembler." Among the participants are the best workers from large enterprises in the republic. The competitors are vying for the right to represent Tatarstan at the federal level. The competitions will last until April 24 and include a theoretical part and many hours of practical work. "I am overwhelmed with excitement. Calmness and experience are important. The equipment on site is all magnificent and new. The CNC machines look beautiful too. I still need to learn how to work on them," shared participant Evgeny Medvedev from LLC "Akkuraid Wills Russia." The championship was initiated by the Ministry of Labor, Employment, and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan. The choice of venue is not accidental: last year, the plant successfully hosted the All-Russian competitions among disabled veterans of the SVO. "The issue of staff shortages in the republic is acute, so it is necessary to popularize working professions from the school bench. Since December, with the support of the President of Tatarstan, a project has started, within which students in grades 8-9 are already beginning to receive working specialties," noted Marina Finokhina, head of the production and training center of KVZ.

      In Tatarstan, regional stages of the competition are held in 13 categories. Then the republic will host the federal stage in the competence of "Installer of Radioelectronic Equipment."
