      The Prime Minister of Tatarstan, Alexey Pesoshin, presented the report on the work of the Cabinet of Ministers for 2025 at a meeting of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan. Among the priority areas, he highlighted investment programs of resource-supplying organizations. It was noted that the industry continues to face systemic problems: a high degree of wear and tear of communal infrastructure, unprofitability of enterprises, and a shortage of personnel – especially in the areas of water supply, wastewater disposal, and heat supply. These factors directly affect the quality of communal services and the level of tariffs. In this regard, the government of the republic has set the task of strengthening control over the implementation of investment programs, as well as the introduction of modern technologies in the modernization of networks and equipment. The State Committee of Tatarstan on tariffs will continue its work in this direction. Dmitry Sapozhnikov, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee of Tatarstan on tariffs, noted that control over the justification of including costs in tariffs and the implementation of investment programs remains one of the key areas of the agency's work. He emphasized that special attention is paid to the effectiveness of investments and their real impact on the quality of communal services.
