      The first phase of the "Tebriz" square will be improved this year for 52 million rubles. This was reported the day before at a meeting with residents of the Moscow district regarding the future site at the intersection of Dekabristov and Vostaniya streets. The hearings took place at Gymnasium No. 17. According to the concept, during the first phase of the project, a playground will be established, which will appear on the side of the city children's hospital No. 1. In its design, specialists were inspired by the landscapes and architecture of Tebriz, which has been a sister city of Kazan since 2017. The playground area will be divided into three parts: a central zone for children aged 7 and older, a zone for toddlers, and a common swing area. Next to the playground, a resting area will be arranged where parents can wait for their children. In the future, the central element of the square will be a square with a fountain and flower beds, where various types of roses will be planted. The fountain itself is planned to be recreated in its original form, using historical photographs and documents (the square at this location was formed in 1949 and named after the Iranian Tebriz in 2017). A new pedestrian route will be created around the square, along which swings and benches will also be placed. Plans include connecting the "Tebriz" square with the square near the Moscow market via this route.

      Let us remind you that the project is part of the public space improvement program for 2026, amounting to 2.5 billion rubles. The funds will be allocated through the "Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment" project, a nationwide competition, and from the republican budget.
