The Nefis Charity Fund has provided support to the residents of the Republic of Dagestan affected by the consequences of heavy rains and floods. The region received 18.6 tons of household chemicals. Various cleaning products were sent to Dagestan, including 9.2 tons of laundry detergents, 2.2 tons of dishwashing products, 3.8 tons of soap, and 3.4 tons of shampoos. The products are intended for personal hygiene, cleaning, and sanitary treatment of premises after flooding, the charity fund's press service reports. The humanitarian action was organized at the initiative of State Duma deputy and founder of the Nefis Fund Irek Boguslavsky. The aid will be distributed among the affected through local charitable foundations "With Faith in the Future" and "Clean Heart" in Makhachkala. "We want to support people who found themselves in the disaster zone and help them restore their usual way of life more quickly. We sincerely sympathize with those who have lost loved ones and believe that through our joint efforts we can overcome the consequences of the disaster," noted Irek Boguslavsky. It should be noted that at the end of March - beginning of April, powerful rains hit the North Caucasus. Flooding, power outages, landslides, and mudflows were recorded in Dagestan and Chechnya. A federal state of emergency was declared in several areas. According to the latest data, 6 people died, and more than 6,200 were affected.
