The Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan announces the start of the spring phase of the campaign "Clean Forests of Tatarstan."

      From April 20 to June 20, 2026, the spring phase of the environmental campaign "Clean Forests of Tatarstan" will take place in the republic, aimed at achieving the goals of the national project "Ecological Well-Being."

      The preservation of Tatarstan's forest wealth requires joint efforts, and the annual campaign "Clean Forests of Tatarstan" plays an important role in this. This was reported by Ilgizar Zaripov, the first deputy minister of forestry of the republic. As last season showed, the initiative is indeed beneficial: 30,000 volunteers helped clean the forest fund — 800 cubic meters of garbage were removed, and another 5,200 cubic meters of deadwood and fallen branches were piled for composting.

      The program for this season includes not only large-scale cleaning of waste and wood residues but also landscaping work: specialists will update information boards and signs, and tidy up rest areas for visitors to the forest areas.

      Everyone who cares is invited to participate in the campaign: representatives of organizations, educational institutions, enterprises, and simply citizens ready to contribute to nature protection. The autumn phase of the project is scheduled for the period from September 14 to November 14.
