Zains at the solemn event dedicated to the Day of Local Self-Government

      On April 18, a solemn event dedicated to the Day of Local Self-Government in the Russian Federation took place in Kazan at the GTRK "Korston." The event was attended by the Prime Minister of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin, the Chairman of the Council of Municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan Exam Gubaidullin, the State Advisor of the Republic of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev, the Acting Chairman of the State Council of RT Marat Akhmetov, the Honorary Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin, the Head of the Administration of the Republic Raiza Asgat Safarov, and others. The Zainsky municipal district was represented at the celebration by a delegation led by the Head of the district R.G. Karimov. The delegation included the Deputy Head of the district P.S. Urazaikin, the head of the district executive committee E.E. Galeev, and the heads of the Alexandrov-Slobodsky, Novospassky, Ursaevsky, and Kadyrovsky rural settlements S.A. Kuznetsov, N.V. Tanchuk, N.A. Gatina, and L.N. Barsukova. Alexey Pesoshin congratulated the municipal community of the republic on behalf of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Government of the republic. He noted that this year marks the 20th anniversary of local self-government in Tatarstan. He expressed special words of gratitude to the veterans of local self-government bodies. The Prime Minister of the republic emphasized that 2026 has been declared the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia, while in Tatarstan it is the Year of Military and Labor Valor. During the event, Alexey Pesoshin presented certificates for cars to the executive committees of municipal districts and urban districts. At the end of the event, state awards of the Republic of Tatarstan were presented to deserving municipal workers. Notably, the song "Dreams Come True" by Yuri Antonov, with lyrics by Mikhail Tanich, was performed by a choir of municipal employees of the republic, which included our heads – Sergey Kuznetsov and Lyudmila Barsukova.
