Entrepreneurs in Tatarstan attracted 1.8 billion rubles thanks to the Guarantee Fund.

      In Tatarstan, the results of the business guarantee support for the first quarter have been summarized. The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan reported that over three months, about 70 entrepreneurs utilized guarantees from the Guarantee Fund for a total amount exceeding 330 million rubles. This allowed businesses to attract approximately 1.8 billion rubles in borrowed funds. Support was provided by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and its subordinate Guarantee Fund. The measures are being implemented as part of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy." The majority of guarantees were provided to entrepreneurs in the service sector, including medical organizations, machine and equipment repair enterprises, catering establishments, and other areas. Significant volumes of support were also received by companies in the manufacturing sector and agricultural producers. The Guarantee Fund provides guarantees to companies that do not have sufficient collateral to obtain financing. This applies to loans, borrowings, leasing, or bank guarantees. The maximum guarantee amount for a single borrower is up to 100 million rubles. For a group of affiliated companies, the limit is higher—up to 120 million rubles, provided that the funds are directed towards investment purposes and the acquisition of fixed assets. For other purposes, the maximum guarantee amount is limited to 70 million rubles. The fee for the guarantee depends on the business sector. For entrepreneurs from priority industries, the rate is set at 1% per annum of the guarantee amount. For other categories of businesses, it is 1.5% per annum.
