      After the fire at the gunpowder factory in Kazan, a man was killed, who was pulled from the rubble, the press service of the Ministry of Health of Tatarstan reported to the state agency TASS. The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan also clarified the condition of two injured individuals who were hospitalized the day before. They sustained burns and injuries. A woman in serious condition is in the Republican Clinical Hospital, her condition is stable. A man is in hospital No. 7 in moderate condition. The explosion at the gunpowder factory in Kazan occurred on the evening of April 14. "The cause is of a technogenic nature. There are casualties. All services promptly arrived at the scene to eliminate the consequences of what happened," said Lilia Galimova, head of the press service of the republic's leader. She added that production was not halted. According to authorities, the explosion caused partial structural collapse. "Our nine-story building shook a bit, there are blue lights flashing. The sirens of firefighters and ambulances can still be heard," a local resident was quoted by "Caution, News." Galimova stated that "the loud sound and wave were felt by people because a special pressure relief system, provided for safety in such cases, was activated." The prosecutor's office of the republic has taken control of the investigation into the criminal case under the article on "violating the requirements of industrial safety of hazardous production facilities" (Article 217 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
